Treasury Launches $25 Billion Emergency Rental Assistance Program

The Department of the Treasury has officially introduced the $25 billion Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) that was created by the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021 and launched a web portal to help inform the country on the details of the program.

 

Step Up For Students is still awarding Florida Tax Credit Scholarships for the 2020-21 school year through the end of January 2021

Since these are Florida Tax Credit Scholarships, families that you serve or colleagues may qualify based on their income, as well as friend or colleagues that you know. PPP loans available through Florida Community Loan Fund

Florida Community Loan Fund is pleased to provide access to Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans to Florida nonprofit organizations and small businesses. Whether a first-time applicant or applying for a second draw loan, FCLF’s PPP Team is ready to help and be sure all Florida nonprofits and small businesses that qualify can access PPP. The Small Business Administration (SBA) has re-opened the Payroll Protection Program

(PPP) for the second draw of PPP loans, which can be used to help fund payroll costs, mortgage interest, rent, utilities, worker protection costs related to COVID-19, uninsured property damage costs caused by looting or vandalism during 2020, and certain supplier costs and expenses for operations. Florida DEO Updates, State Reemployment Assistance

The Continued Assistance Act is now available for PUA claimants who have exhausted their benefits. Log-in to CONNECT and take action on your account.

PEUC Claimants who have exhausted their eligible weeks of benefits under the CARES Act and are unemployed or partially unemployed after December 27, 2020, will be able to request benefit payments soon. You should not submit an additional application at this time. Claimants who are on PEUC or PUA can view this step-by-step guide to learn how to request weekly benefits.

DEO will be conducting nightly maintenance to the CONNECT system to process claims and payments. CONNECT will be available from 8am-8pm, M-F.
